How to get to Vilamoura from Faro
On your arrival at Faro Airport, you can take a bus to Vilamoura for only 3.75€. But if you’re traveling with your friends or family, renting a cab might be a better option. There are cheap taxi transfers from the airport to Algarve so you wouldn’t worry about Vilamoura directions.

Four-seat cabs are available for 27€ every Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. There are also six-seat taxis for 34€ to 40€. Note that you won’t find any convenient train station to take you from Faro to Vilamoura.

There are two convenient ways to get to Vilamoura from Lisbon, Portugal’s capital city. From Lisbon Airport, you can rent a taxi to take you to Gare do Oriente, a bus and train station that will connect you to Vilamoura in Algarve, Portugal. If you want to take a bus, get tickets for Renex buses. The bus trip to Vilamoura will take 3.5 hours, including a 15-minute stop over.

If you prefer the train, you will have to embark at Loule and take another taxi to Vilamoura. You can take the train that operates twice daily via Lisbon Entrecampos to Algarve. Just a warning, you might encounter a little difficulty in getting a cab at Loule. But once you get one, you can ask the driver for Vilamoura directions and rent the car for a full day trip in this lovely town of Portugal.
